Following

 Keys to being a follower...

1. Dedicate a place to Prayer and Devotion.
Meet with God every night and morning for prayer, worship, and Bible reading.
(Some do just morning, just night, or split the prayer, worship, and reading between the two.)


2. Study the Word of God
Spend at least 15 minutes per day in the Bible.
Let God speak to you through His Word.
The Bible is FOOD for the soul and spirit of mortal man.
"As new babes, desire the milk of the Word, 

that you may grow thereby." 1 Peter 2:2


3. Join a Bible study & Attend Church often.
 The best way to grow in the faith is with other believers. 
We are called to be in the community.
Church is a place of worship, discipleship, training, serving, and sending.
"Not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as is the manner of some,
but exhorting one another..." Hebrews 10:25


4. Be baptized, if not already.
Baptism is a commandment Jesus gave us, set an example for,
and excepts us to teach others so they too can be baptized.



5. Work for God, for the fields are white for harvest.
He left the winning of souls into the kingdom for us.
God readies them, and we harvest them. Mortals don't get people saved.
 We just help God by being the Hands and Feet of Christ to this watching world.

6. Stay clear of evil companions... 
Avoid any book, person, amusement, or pleasure that is not uplifting to the heart and soul.
"Whatever is good and pure, think on these things."


7. Give support to God's work.
10% to the storehouse and more as you feel led.
10% of your first fruits belong to the Kingdom.


8. Do not be discouraged.
Doing good, serving the Kingdom, ministering in the Shadowlands,
and leaving family, friends, and homeland behind for the sake of the call is not easy.
Yet Jesus promised us that He is with us always,
therefore we should be strong and of good courage despite the hardship life throws our way.

Desert Refuge Wire: Summer '23

Dear Friends, Family, and Supporters, Summer's heat has come back to the forests of Eastern Tennessee, along with smoke from the wildfires up north in Canada.  We have been blessed to get a beautiful raised bed garden in place for this summer. which is caring for our needs until we return to Dine' be Keyah to serve among the Native tribes, especially the Dine' ( Navajo ), the Cowboys, and reach out to the lost among the subcultures.  As of the start of the Year, Rob and Morria were appointed Missions Team Leaders at Circle C Cowboy Church, which is leading to awesome opportunities to continue partnering with Broken Arrow Bible Ranch, and other ministries which Circle C is partnered with.  Morria is still serving on the worship team, and Rob is an "Arena Cowboy" on the setup/take-down side of things.  Shaddow Cross: Desert Refuge Outpost is fully set up now in our temp HQ with both Rob and Morria having offices to focus on their branches of ministry, Rob - Cowboy C...

Desert Refuge Wire: Spring '23

  Dear Friends, Family, and Supporters, Spring has come with her fresh blooms, warming temps, and bright sunshine.  Not that this spring has not come without her troubles.  Our Gold HHR "Traveller" is out of commission for the time being, and we are currently borrowing Rob's parents' spare truck.   That being said, we are still busy with Rodeo, Worship, and Circle C Church ministry. This late winter/spring, Rob and Morria have set up tables representing the church at several local rodeos. Work still moves forward on the return to Dine' bi Keyah, the American Southwest, slated for 2025.  Steps are being taken for training and preparation as we go forward, with more details coming soon!  Again, dear friends and family, we thank you for your prayers and support!
