Desert Refuge Wire: Summer '23

Dear Friends, Family, and Supporters,

Summer's heat has come back to the forests of Eastern Tennessee, along with smoke from the wildfires up north in Canada.  We have been blessed to get a beautiful raised bed garden in place for this summer. which is caring for our needs until we return to Dine' be Keyah to serve among the Native tribes, especially the Dine' (Navajo), the Cowboys, and reach out to the lost among the subcultures. 

As of the start of the Year, Rob and Morria were appointed Missions Team Leaders at Circle C Cowboy Church, which is leading to awesome opportunities to continue partnering with Broken Arrow Bible Ranch, and other ministries which Circle C is partnered with.  Morria is still serving on the worship team, and Rob is an "Arena Cowboy" on the setup/take-down side of things. 

Shaddow Cross: Desert Refuge Outpost is fully set up now in our temp HQ with both Rob and Morria having offices to focus on their branches of ministry, Rob - Cowboy Culture outreach, Morria - Subculture outreach, & Both: Native outreach.  Morria has Shaddow Cross live again, and ready for the next phase of ministry as the Nickles prepare to return to the Desert Southwest.

Needs:

• Urgent:  Prayers for the over 100 wildfires currently burning up north in Canada, and for all of us south of it, who are suffering the effects of the smoke.
• Prayers for the Nickles:
  a) For Rob and Morria's continued vision, spiritual protection, and cultural sensitivity as they serve.
  b) The salvation of those they serve among, and the discipleship of those who come to the Lord.
  c) For your part in the ministry.
  
• $2,000 in start-up costs - This is for not-for-profit ministry status and support raising supplies for upcoming deputation trips. (20% Raised)
• $3,000 a month support - 2% raised
• Prayers for the Needs within the Native American, Subculture, and Cowboy cultures.
• Bibles (new) to share (See: Needs)
• Churches and Individuals to partner with.
• Land in the Southwest (NW New Mexico) for the Ministry Outpost
• Additional Team Members
